Things to Know About

The current issue of Selvedge Magazine (www.selvedge.org)  is in the store.  We tend to love this magazine a lot!!! Now that it is more reasonably priced we love it even more - though truth be told, we bought it even when it was a bit pricey.  These magazines are the type one archives since they are filled with information and resources that are of current (and future) use. Since it's published in London, it tends to be filled with a bit more news from "the other side of the pond".  Not that we don't agree that the British Isles are our idea of heaven on earth, mind you, but we are always happy to spot things a bit closer to home.

Take a look at what's coming our way - here in NY - at the Park Ave. Armory (, March 25-30) www.http://www.folkartmuseum.org/infinitevariety   Imagine an exhibit devoted only to red and white quilts - and thanks to the good and kind folk at the American Museum of Folk Art, it is FREE.
