  Come to Knitty City and

Take a bite out of February

As we bid  farewell to January, our  Anniversary Month, and face the somewhat dreary month of February,  we didn't want to put our knit cake away,  so we decided to keep it in the window, and wouldn't you know it, "Petunia" one  of  the  Dinosaurs from the new  Knitted Dinosaurs book,  just could not resist!.  So let's follow his  (yes, Petunia is a "he")  lead and take the bite out of Febrruary, starting with this wonderful new book:

We sold it out at the show ( btw, thanks to all who came and visited our booth at Vogue Knitting Annual NYC Show) but, fortunately, we were able to procure some more.  Stop by and pick one up today.  The dinosaurs  come in all sizes and shapes and the Blue Sky Alpacas and Spud & Chloe yarns that are  specified in the patterns are  on sale at 10% off - January being Blue Sky Alpacas Yarn of the Month at KC!

As soon as VK LiVE was wrapped, Pearl took off for Phoenix where she attended the industry's National Needlework Spring Show.  The bi-annual trade event introduces all retailers and industry people to the new Spring yarns and products  for 2012.  Pearl used the opportunity to stock up on more of your favorite yarns, including new colors of "Baah",  reviewed by Clara Parkes in the most recent issue of Knitter's Review (www.knittersreview.com).   Also new to the store will be a lovely yarn distributed by our pals at Lantern Moon: Fyberspates.  It's a heavenly  blend of silk and merino in gorgeous solid colors. Fyberspates should be in the store in mid February; we'll be sending you a newsletter as soon as it's on the shelf.
