American Express OPEN has notifed the Upper West Side’s Knitty City that it is one

of 10 finalists in this year’s Big Break for Small Business Competition! 

We are excited to announce that Knitty City Along with 9 other worthy
   businesses, is a finalist in the Big Break for Small Business contest
   from American Express.  That means if we can get enough votes (lots and
   lots) Knitty City,  along with 4 other businesses, will  each win
   $25,000.00.  That money will enable us to fund some of the social
   community projects we wish to underwrite!
