Making Strides Against Breat Cancer

 Central Park - October l6

Congrats to the Knitty City Team!

Pearl and a small group of intrepid early risers were up and in Central Park on Sunday, October 16,  as they joined several lhundred people who walked the 5 mile route in support of financial assitance and support for breast cancer research and the American Cancer Society.  The donations fund medical research as well as free support programs such as Hope Lodge on W. 32nd St. in Manhattan, which offers no-cost housing to cancer patients getting treatment in the city.  The  Knitty City Team raised over $2,100 in the past few weeks.  In addition, Knitty City continues to donate  10%  from the sales of all pink yarns for the rest of the month.  Thank you EVERYONE for your support.
