The Knitting Clock
(If time has to pass, we may as well get a scarf out of it)
I told you I'd be back soon and here I am! I simply cannot stay away too long when so much is happening at the store. In the "old days" people in the yarn and knit and crochet industry used to see the summer months as quiet and not as active as fall and winter. Well, that's a thing of the past. With the great explosion of wonderful fibers that serve all seasons (think linen, cotton, hemp, bamboo and various blends), it's fast becoming apparent just how "year-round" our passionate industry really is.

I know it's technically the 2nd, but I wrote this on the 1st and we'll have to go with the literary flow, so bear with me as I tell you more about the art and passion of Jean Hilkens and Nell Berger, two Amsterdam based artists who have graciously brought Knitty City into their "circle". We mentioned this in our last post, but since then things have firmed up even more and the press is in on it, so we wanted to make sure we "pressed" the point with our readers a bit more......
