Knitter's Night Out at City Bakery! - Monday, June 1st

Our first Knitter's Night out was a huge success! We're happy to announce we will be doing it again on Monday, June 1st, 7:00-8:30pm. By demand, we're expanding the menu and we'll have more opportunities to share your crafts. This month, our special guest will be Cathy Carron from knitcliks.com

We know you love food almost as much as you love knitting, so why not spend the evening enjoying both? City Bakery is hosting Knitty City lovers for an evening full of knitting that will leave you full of food.

“Strut Your Stuff,” hosted by Ubaldo, for a chance to win prizes. Or just come to meet other knitters and crocheters over an all-you-can-eat buffet at City Bakery in Chelsea at 3 West 18th St.

Tickets are limited and they are going fast!

Double Dosage of Designers in May!

We are very excited to be able to have two designer series presentations in May.

Xuanxuan Li will be joining us on May 7th, 6-8pm to show off her magnificent senior thesis from Parsons The New School for Design.

Her collection of 7 garments are all inspired by Oscar Wilde's Victorian novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, giving them a unique style you won't see anywhere else.

Get a sneak peak of her work at www.xuanxuanli.com

Xenobia Bailey is always a welcomed guest at Knitty City and we're more than happy to have her on May 21st, 6-8pm. Her newest art installation will be available for public display as part of the New York City MTA 7 subway line extension to 34th Street!

Definitely check out the video of her mosaic being assembled on YouTube for a real treat.
