Free Knitting Lessons in Bryant Park!
Beginning Tuesday, June 16, 1:30-3:00PM

Knitty City will, once again, be conducting free knitting lessons in Bryant Park, on the Upper Terrace, across from the Bryant Park Grill. This year we will begin our weekly meet-ups on Tuesday, June 16, from 1:30-3:00pm, and every following Tuesday, until August 25. We will be knitting "Found, But Not Lost" scarves that will be donated at the end of the summer season. As usual, needles and yarn will be provided and returned at the end of each lesson. Even if you are an experienced knitter, we welcome you to join us. It's great fun, and you may be inspired to share your knowledge with someone new to the satisfying world of knitting -- and Knitty City.

Knitter's Night Out at City Bakery!
Monday, July 13th, 7:00-8:30pm at 3 West 18th St.

We're happy to announce our next Knitter's Night Out on Monday, July 13th, 7:00-8:30pm. By demand, we're expanding the menu and we'll have more opportunities to share your crafts. Our special guest for July will be Michele Wang of Brooklyn Tweed and owner of Gauge + Tension in Brooklyn.

We know you love food almost as much as you love knitting, so why not spend the evening enjoying both? City Bakery is hosting Knitty City lovers for an evening full of knitting that will leave you full of food.

“Strut Your Stuff,” hosted by Ubaldo, for a chance to win prizes. Or just come to meet other knitters and crocheters over an all-you-can-eat buffet at City Bakery in Chelsea at 3 West 18th St.
